Policy
Privacy policy
In effect from 2026-09-26
negunde (“the service”) is operated in the Republic of Korea and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and related legislation. Because many readers visit from abroad, sections 3 and 4 also set out what this means under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation and under US state privacy laws. This is the English version of the same policy published in Korean; where the two differ, the Korean text governs.
1. What is collected, and why
There are no accounts and no sign-up. We do not ask you to enter personal information. The following is generated automatically:
- Access logs: IP address, browser type, time of access and pages visited — kept to keep the service running, prevent abuse and produce aggregate statistics.
- Anything you send us: your email address and the contents of your message, used only to answer you, kept for one year after the exchange ends and then deleted.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
- Your settings: your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser’s localStorage. It is never sent to our server.
- Advertising: this site serves advertising through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or through the Network Advertising Initiative. How Google handles advertising data is described in Google’s advertising policies and in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We do not pass your name, email address or any other personal information to advertising vendors.
- Statistics: this site measures visits with Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies (
_gaand similar) to count which pages are read, how long people stay, what device and browser they used, and the approximate region inferred from the IP address. It does not collect your name, email address or anything else that identifies you, and Google Analytics 4 does not store the IP addresses it receives in its logs. To opt out, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or block cookies in your browser. How Google handles this data is described in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some conveniences, such as remembering your theme, will stop working if you do.
3. Visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, advertising and analytics cookies start switched off. Google’s tags run in a restricted mode until you make a choice in the consent message shown on your first visit, and they set advertising or analytics cookies only if you accept. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time through the same message (the privacy-settings link it leaves on the page) or by clearing this site’s cookies.
- Legal bases: your consent for advertising and analytics cookies; our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and working for access logs; and your request for handling a message you send us.
- Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent without affecting processing already carried out. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.
- International transfers: the service is run from Korea, and Google and Amazon Web Services may process data in other countries, including the United States. Those providers rely on their own transfer safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
4. Visitors from the United States
We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising served through Google AdSense may use cookies for personalised (cross-context behavioural) advertising, which some state laws, including California’s, treat as “sharing”. You can opt out of personalised ads in Google Ads Settings or at www.aboutads.info, and you can ask us to access or delete anything we hold about you at negunde123@gmail.com. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
5. Sharing and processing by others
We do not sell your personal information and do not pass it to third parties for their own purposes. The minimum necessary is processed within the systems of Google LLC (advertising and analytics) and Amazon Web Services (hosting and infrastructure). Disclosure may also occur where required by law, to the extent the law requires.
6. Retention and deletion
Data is destroyed without delay once the purpose it was collected for has been met. Access logs are kept for at most 12 months, except where a statute sets a different retention period.
7. Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to have its processing suspended. Write to negunde123@gmail.com; we will tell you the outcome within 10 days of receiving the request.
8. External links
This site links heavily to the websites of national institutions and other third parties. Once you follow such a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies, not this one.
9. Who is responsible
강신욱, representative of AIGENN · negunde123@gmail.com
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be revised as the law or the service changes. Any revision is published on this page together with the date it takes effect.
